In the years following high school, she attended an undergraduate program at the University of Arizona and was named a three-time All American pitcher, as and a first-baseman. When she was in 2001, her Wildcats team was awarded the National Championship, and again in 2002 she received an award called the Honda Award for the best softballer in the country. The Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Teams (WWAST) goal is to increase awareness via the sport of exhibitions and games with celebrities of the sacrifices and perseverance of our troops and to highlight their capability to conquer any challenge.
